LOVE PEOPLE. PAUL’S MISSION AND OURS
On the way to Damascus, God revealed Himself to Paul, the stubborn persecutor of the church. This meeting changed Christian history. All the energy and strength that Paul put into persecuting, arresting, and condemning Christians was channeled into preaching the gospel and sharing Jesus, the God made man. Paul did what was not comfortable for him, moved by love, like Jesus. Paul suffered greatly in his missions. He has been beaten a few times, imprisoned, rioted, sleepless nights and famine days. He supported himself most of the time and often kept other missionaries with their tent-building work. Paul experienced a love that he could not keep only for himself. Neither could death stop the influence of his work. But the story does not end there. It is necessary to continue this mission and for this, God has invited many to build a career as tentmakers, reaching places where an ordinary missionary cannot go.
This course is designed to introduce the concept of mission as a tentmaker, also called Total Employment by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, as well as prepare someone who has the desire to carry out this mission model. Continue to Full Course Introduction…
